SUBTHEME: EVIDENCE OF ADVANCEMENT AND ALL ROUND FRUITFULNESS
TOPIC: SUPPORT FOR MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL

A minister of the gospel is a servant of God who has devoted his life to studying, living, teaching, and preaching the word. Isaiah 50:4: "The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary.” They are knowledgeable, prepared, clothed and anointed for service. They are Messengers of God, impacting sinners and equipping the saints.
These servants of God labour in all spiritual matters for us. The Lord commands them to live from the gospel and are worthy of our support. 1 Corinthians 9:11: "If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap material harvest from you?" Matthew 10:41: "He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.”
Support involves all forms of assistance and encouragement. Those who receive the prophet’s message, support and encourage them to accomplish their work, will share in their reward of eternal life.
Galatians 6:6: "Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all things.” Giving is an act of devotion to God; activate the prophets reward with your giving.

Heavenly Father, help me to know various ways I can be a blessing and a helping hand to my ministers and inspire me to share generously with those in need.
