UNDERSTANDING THE CONCEPT OF ALL-ROUND FRUITFULNESS
Texts: Deut. 28:1-6; 3 John 2
All-round, in our context, means "on or from every side" or "in every direction." Synonyms include "total," "comprehensive," and "every area."
Fruitfulness, on the other hand, means "productivity, success, profitability, progress." Indeed, the desire of our heavenly Father for His children is not just for them to prosper spiritually. Our spiritual success should also reflect on our physical well-being. The Apostle John wrote: "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth" (3 John 2). This is the desire of God for His beloved children.
Looking at Deuteronomy 28:1–6, it is very clear that God wants His children to experience all-round prosperity: "Blessed shall thou be in thy going out...in thy coming in...in the city... in the field...the fruit of thy body...thy flock...And all these blessings shall come on thee and overtake thee...!" There is no better way to define "all-round" fruitfulness than what this Bible passage offers.
Dearly beloved of the Lord, in this year 2024, do not just seek a "one-sided" blessing! In line with His word, earnestly desire to experience God's 'all-round fruitfulness' throughout the year and beyond and it shall be so unto you. All that God requires of you is to be committed to Him. "No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly" (Psalm 84:11b).As you resolve to walk uprightly this year, all-round fruitfulness shall be your portion in Jesus name. Amen!

Father, may I never, by any means, miss your promise of all-round fruitfulness this year. Help me to be faithful to you. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
